What a weekend

The Bearcats cracked the top 10 for the first time in school history. They took down Fresno State and the nation’s leading rusher and only needed 16:16 to do it. In a little over a quarter of an hour, Tony Pike tossed three TDs and racked up 300+ yards passing. Take note of the third point here.

The man averaged 18.75 yards per minute he had the ball.

UPDATE: Thank you for finally giving some recognition, Pat Forde.

The WhoDeys are a fluke play away from 3-0. Without Stokley’s BS tipped catch, it’s a first place tie in the AFC North with the Ravens. Carson isn’t racking up huge numbers, but he’s leading the Bengals to victory in thrilling fashion. He was throwing strikes all the way down the field on that last drive. And the bullet to Andre Caldwell for his first career TD was the icing on the cake. People are calling this a culture change in Cincinnati. It definitely adds a little confidence. I’m cautiously optimistic.

Pretty big for your first career TD, Andre...

The Panthers racked up another big ‘W’ up in Cleveland. Here’s hoping my buddy Pete gets back on his feet soon. After the way the Hoosiers looked in the Big House, he may be in for big things next season. And can Mark Miller please get some looks? 24-26 this week for over 300 yards. The kid’s a player.

After some stellar senior mentoring, Mark Miller's lighting it up again this season.

And, away from the hometown, the Tigers went out to Reno and got a hard-fought road win against Nevada. Blaine Gabbert racked up 414 yards through the air. Danario Alexander went for 170 yards with two TDs. No big deal, but he likes to party at our place.

Party with us and big things will happen. Just ask Danario...
